Regular Board Meeting - See details (With executive session)

The Coos Bay School District (CBSD) Board of Directors will hold a Regular Board meeting on the Second Monday of each month. The CBSD Board will meet in public session via video conference.

During the February 8 meeting, the Board will meet in Executive Session to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the chief executive officer of any public body, or public officer, employee or staff member who does not request an open hearing (ORS 192.660(2)(h)). The public portion of the meeting will begin at approximately 6:00pm. 

To support the Governor's recommendations for social distancing, the CBSD Board of Directors will conduct the 2020-2021 board meetings by video conference only. Members of the public may watch the board meeting live. The agenda and packet will be posted HERE the Friday before the meeting. 

Speakers may sign up no later than 12:00pm the day of the meeting by e-mailing or calling the Board Secretary at [email protected] or 541-267-1310. Speakers will receive a call in code prior to the meeting. 

Speakers may offer objective   criticism  of   school   operations   and   programs,  but   the   board   will   not hear   personal   complaints   concerning   school   personnel  nor   against   any   person   connected   with   the school   system.   The   board  chair   will   direct   the   visitor   to   the   appropriate   means   for   board consideration   and   disposition   of   legitimate   complaints   involving   individuals.   (Board   Policy   BDDH)
