It's spring cleaning time at Coos Bay Public Schools, and this could be a perfect opportunity to pick up an older computer or a piece of furniture.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, February 4, the district will host a surplus sale at Blossom Gulch School, 333 S. 10th Street. Follow the signs to the correct classroom once you get to the school.
The district is primarily selling older computers and tech equipment that is nearing the end of its useful life for the district. This includes the Chromebooks used by students and technology that has been upgraded in classrooms. Some of the computers still function, but are no longer supported and had to be replaced. There will also be some furniture and other items for sale.
Everything will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and must be taken home Saturday.
