A large crowd turned out Thursday to help make the Eastside School campus a little more attractive.
During Gardening with Grownups, families were invited to the school to learn about gardening from the Oregon State University Extension Office, while also helping weed and plant flowers at the school.
In addition, students were invited to decorate their own flowerpots and plant flower or vegetable seeds they could take home.
In addition to hosting a nature-themed craft station, OSU Extension experts also brought a blender bike to serve healthy smoothies to those in attendance.
