Our schools are the heart of the Coos Bay community, and we believe that everyone has a stake in the success of our students. As we look toward the future, the Coos Bay School District is launching a new Strategic Planning initiative to define our goals, priorities, and vision for the coming years.
To ensure this plan truly reflects the needs and values of our community, we need your voice.
We are inviting staff, students, and community members to apply for the Strategic Plan Steering Committee. We anticipate 12-15 members serving on this committee and completing this important work from September to December/January.
Why Join?
As a member of the steering committee, you will have a direct hand in shaping the educational roadmap for Coos Bay. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to review data, discuss community priorities, and help chart a course that ensures every student in our district has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
