Requesting a Letter of Sponsorship from the District:
Some of the licenses through TSPC (Teachers Standards Practices Commission) require a Letter of Support (LOS) or Sponsorship. This does include the Emergency Licenses for classified staff to fill in as a licensed teacher. District Letter Sponsorship Handout
These licenses generally require a new application and letter annually. If you plan to renew your license and require sponsorship, please complete the Google Form below.
This will be our new process for requesting sponsorship by Coos Bay School District.

The Coos Bay School District does not accept paper applications. All supplemental documents (letter of interest, resume, and/or letters of recommendation) need to be added to your electronic application. Do not send copies of your materials to the district office.

Volunteer coaches, volunteer assistant coaches and volunteer advisors must complete a fingerprint based criminal records check as well as online safety training required by Oregon statute. Please email kristil@coos-bay.k12.or.us for more information.
