About the ARK Project
The ARK Project is a school-based McKinney-Vento support program serving children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability throughout Coos County, Oregon. Our drop-in center provides a welcoming, supportive space where families can access basic necessities, advocacy, crisis intervention, school support, community referrals, and connections to local resources. The ARK Project works collaboratively with schools, families, and community partners to help reduce barriers that may impact school attendance, educational stability, and academic success. Our support services are designed to assist students and families in accessing resources that promote student well-being, stability, and continued engagement in school.
