Public Complaints
Most complaints will be addressed according to the process outlined in Policy KL- Public Complaints** and KL-AR - Public Complaint Procedure
Discrimination
Complaints regarding the interpretation or application of the district’s nondiscrimination policy.
Sexual Harassment and Title IX
The district processes complaints or reports of sexual harassment under Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 342.700 et. al. and federal Title IX laws found in Title 34 C.F.R. Part 106. Individual complaints may require both of these procedures, and may involve additional complaint procedures.

Bias Incident Complaint Procedure
The term “bias incident” is defined in policy. Persons impacted by a bias incident shall be defined broadly to include individuals at whom an incident was directed as well as students in the larger school community likely to be impacted by the incident.
